Simple and Delish Creamy Tuscan Chicken
This delish creamy tuscan chicken tastes like it is straight from a restaurant. It has such a delicious creamy garlic taste with spinach and sun dried tomatoes. The chicken is so tender and juicy every bite just melts in your mouth! Everyone who eats this chicken falls in love with it at first bite! Moreover, this recipe is so simple and quick! It doesn’t take more that 30 minutes to get it done and, let’s be honest, it’s impossible not to love that!
1 chicken breast of about 180 gr, sliced
200 ml heavy cream
1/3 teaspoon paprika, pepper, salt, garlic powder – calibrate to taste
1 small bunch of parsley
1 cube of butter
3-4 dried tomatoes
1 handful of spinach
The preparation is so simple! First of all, make the spice mix and put it over the chicken. You can prepare this mix in the morning and let the chicken in the fridge until dinner. But if you don’t have the time or patience, you can season the pieces of meat right before preparing the food. After that, cut the spinach a little, and I cut the tomatoes in about 2-3 pieces.
Put the butter in the pan, and when it’s melted, put the pieces of chicken breast. Cook the meat over medium to high heat for about 8 minutes in total, on both sides. You will see that it is different to cook in butter, compared to oil! The meat will come out much tender!
When the meat is cooked, take out the pieces on a plate and in the same pan pour the heavy cream, but make sure you turn on the low heat because it can burn quickly! Put the sun-dried tomatoes and spinach and in about 2-3 minutes everything should be ready.
If the sauce thicken a little too hard, you can add 20-30 ml of milk and mix well. Then, placed the chicken pieces over the sauce and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley!
iI depends on the heavy cream used and so the sauce may or may not be thicker. If you think it’s too thick, add a little milk (also valid if you reheat the food), and if it’s too thin you can definitely put 20-30 grams of grated Parmesan cheese or 2-3 cubes of gorgonzola! Hmm delicious!
If you have less chicken breast, you can boil 80-90 gr of pasta and mix them with the sauce, and put the chicken pieces over it! I don’t have to tell you here that Parmesan works well, right?
