Rice pudding with milk -the pampering of my childhood! If my grandmother wanted to please me – and she really enjoyed it – she would make rice pudding. Success was guaranteed! The vanilla and caramel aromas were all around my grandmother’s kitchen.
When we prepare the pudding, the rice will not be boiled because it will be cooked in the oven. Specific flavors are vanilla and lemon peel. In the rice pudding with milk, you can also put almonds, raisins, cherries, etc and this can be prepared even in the multicooker.
200 g of rice
750 ml milk
4 tablespoons sugar
Vanilla essence or Vanilla sugar
A pinch of salt

The rice is boiled in milk as long as it is written on the packaging, about 20 minutes. After 10 minutes of boiling, add the vanilla essence or vanilla sugar, salt and lemon peel. Stir quite often and continue boiling for up to 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt, to which add half the sugar, beat the yellows with the other half of the sugar. The boiled rice is gradually added to the beaten yolks and mixed, then the whites and raisins are added. Take the composition of rice pudding and put it in the lined vessel.
The rice pudding with milk is baked 25 minutes at 180 ° and another 10 minutes at 150 °.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes, then turn over on a platter.
